Chiropractor

Taesun Byun D.C.

Dr. Taesun Byun is a Board Certified Chiropractor with physical therapy privileges in Maryland. Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Dr. Byun earned his degree in Chemical Engineering from Sogang University, one of South Korea's most prestigious universities. After working for 10 years as a chemical engineer, Dr. Byun decided to become a chiropractor so he could spend his life helping free people from their pain.

He graduated as summa cum laude (top 1% of his class) from Palmer Chiropractic College, Davenport, IA, where chiropractic was originally founded in 1895. In 2001, Dr. Byun opened Palmer Chiropractic Clinic, and since then has been one of the top private practices serving residents in Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia.

Dr. Byun's passion is to see his patients maximize their potential by helping them reach optimal health. He continues to attend seminars about the latest chiropractic technology and research, and pursues to expand his knowledge of automobile accidents with an emphasis on analyzing, treating, and properly documenting car accident injuries.

He has also had additional training and certification in the evaluation and treatment of disc herniation and scoliosis. He is always seeking ways that will allow him to serve his patients with the best care possible!

Thomas Byun D.C.

Dr. Thomas Byun is a Board Certified Chiropractor with physical therapy privileges in Maryland. Hailing from Silver Spring, Maryland, Dr. Thomas also graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College, and is carrying on Dr. Byun's legacy to become one of the top chiropractors in the region.

Dr. Thomas discovered his passion for chiropractic as a youth who grew up being adjusted by chiropractors. After completing his bachelor's degree in chemistry at the University of Maryland College Park, he wanted to study chiropractic at its origin and enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic, where chiropractic was first founded by D.D. Palmer. During his time at Palmer, he was trained in a variety of treatment modalities, including chiropractic adjustments, taking and analyzing radiographs and other diagnostic imaging techniques, and diagnosing and rehabilitating patients. Dr. Thomas specializes in delivering accurate and precise adjustments to patients using Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, Activator, and Cox techniques. Upon completing his Doctorate of Chiropractic, he returned to his hometown of Silver Spring to pursue his chiropractic career and bring chiropractic care and philosophy to his community.

In his free time, Dr. Thomas enjoys swimming, backpacking, traveling, and spending time with his dog Chloe.
